Card Description: For my Loteria Card I wanted to share my thoughts on homelessness. I chose as a subject matter because people have to be aware of homeless people in the streets. The colors in the piece represent i showed what a homeless could wear. The images in the piece represent where a homeless has it shelter.  For me personally, this card represents people should give back to some homeless to help them out. I want the audience to see homeless people shelters and help them out.

Student Biography: My name is Andres Barrera and I am a senior at Santa Maria High School. I live in Santa Maria, California with Mom, Dad, brother and sister. My family is from Mexico. In my Loteria card, I chose to represent Homelessness. What inspired me to draw my Loteria card was to bring the homelessness topic to an awareness to people. The artistic process was Fun and challenging because I’m not a good artist. Life after high school will be finding a good to work at.
